Beloved Emirati-Yemeni singer, Balqees Fathi, is set to perform at Abu Dhabi's Yas Waterworld in what is said to be the UAE's first ladies-only concert, on March 21, 2019. It comes as part of the water park's season of ladies' nights, allowing women to enjoy the outdoor performance in privacy. "Balqees is one of the most loved female singers in the region and her dedication to empowering Emirati women is truly inspiring," says Bianca Sammut, Yas Waterworld's general manager. Balqees made her music debut in 2013 with the record-breaking album Majnoun Balqees. Her follow-up release Zay Ma Ana was even more successful, being named the most downloaded album on iTunes in the Middle East in 2015. Her latest album is called Arahenkom. Tickets for the March concert are priced at Dh220 and are available online now. For annual pass holders to Yas Waterworld, the cost is Dh165. The park's Ladies' Night season begins on March 7. Currently, it's also hosting an open-air cinema experience by the Amwaj Wave Pool until December 28. Every Thursday and Friday, from 6pm, a movie is screened, and you can enjoy it while relaxing poolside or floating in the water. Tickets cost Dh55 for kids and adults. _______________________ Read more: New open-air cinema experience at Yas Waterworld Emirati-Yemeni singer Balqees brings us music from the heart Wasla to return in 2019 with Mashrou' Leila, Massar Egbari, 47Soul and Ayloul
