There must be something about the UAE that funnyman Trevor Noah finds irresistible because this December he is coming back again. The Emmy-award winning comedian and host of <em>The Daily Show</em> will perform at Yas Island's du Forum on December 21. His last appearance was in December 2017. A regular performer in the emirates, UAE fans here have seen the South African comic grow from an up-and-coming talent to a superstar comic and Hollywood celebrity. As well as numerous stage appearances in Abu Dhabi and Dubai over the years, he even helped launch <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/television/osn-s-comedy-central-hd-launches-in-dubai-with-superstar-comic-trevor-noah-1.197170">OSN's Comedy Central channel</a>. Already popular, the South African comic shot to fame when he took over from Jon Stewart as host of <em>The Daily Show </em>in 2015. His growing list of achievements includes Best Host at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, as well as a Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series for <em>The Daily Show – Between the Scenes</em>.
