Superstar DJ David Guetta is to play the UAE on NYE.
The French chart-topper will perform at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on December 31.
Guetta has proved a tried-and-tested crowd draw, last spotted performing the final gig at Atlantis Beach in December 2014.
The booking is the work of Peppermint Experience, who have formally hosted a string of huge NYE events at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Limited early-bird tickets are available for Dh350 by registering at peppermint-experience.com. General release tickets, costing Dh495, will go on sale from November 1 at platinimlist.ae and in Virgin Megastores.
Guetta is one of the biggest electronic names on the planet, having scored dozens of smashes in his own name, and productions for over artists. His biggest hits include Dangerous, Titanium, Without You and When Loves Takes Over.
The 47-year-old producer peaked in popularity around 2011, when he topped DJ Mag’s influential Top 100 DJs poll.
Guetta played to 15,000-strong sell out crowds at Dubai’s Atlantis in 2013 and 2014. He headlined Creamfields Abu Dhabi in 2010 and 2012.
Peppermint’s track record in the UAE includes hosting huge gigs from Armin Van Helden, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Swedish House Mafia and Faithless.
