When Mariah Carey played in the UAE, she wore a dress designed by regional couture house Michael Cinco. So when US soul singer Toni Braxton was in town in October, it was only natural she should opt to wear a UAE-based label, too. Playing to a packed crowd at the Dubai Tennis Stadium on October 19, Braxton belted out 1990s hits such as Un-Break My Heart, Breathe Again and Spanish Guitar, wearing an intricately embroidered gown created by Dubai designer Furne One, the man behind Amato. Describing the designer as a "good friend", the singer dropped by his atelier to say hello and posted a snap to her Instagram account. She even invited him onstage later that evening to say thank you. This is not the first time that Furne One and Braxton have teamed up - he has also featured on her TV show Braxton Family Values. ___________________ Read more: Clubland: Toni Braxton, Fat Joe and Richie Hawtin ___________________
