The Dubai Food Festival is making a comeback. The 14-day event will run from May 2 to 15 and will highlight different culinary offerings around the emirate. This year’s festival will shine a spotlight on home-grown concepts, fine-dining restaurants and masterclasses by leading chefs. <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/tags/dubai" target="_blank">Dubai</a> Restaurant Week and Foodie Experiences will both once again return with special dining experiences. In partnership with 40 of the city’s top restaurants (including <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/2022/01/07/first-look-balkan-restaurant-21grams-opens-in-meyan-mall/" target="_blank">21grams</a>, <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/2022/04/04/iftar-review-coya-serves-a-masterful-blend-of-sweet-spicy-and-smoky-flavours/" target="_blank">Coya</a>, <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/new-branch-of-the-maine-oyster-bar-grill-is-opening-in-dubai-studio-city-1.812577" target="_blank">The Maine Street Eatery</a>, Miss Tess, Clap and <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/2021/10/24/bluewaters-island-restaurant-guide-9-of-the-best-places-to-eat-at-the-dubai-hotspot/" target="_blank">The London Project</a>), there will be special three-course dinner menus starting from Dh150 per person or two-course lunch menus from Dh95 per person. Food Experiences will host masterclasses, culinary collaborations and out-of-the-box experimental dining concepts exclusive to the festival. There will be a sushi-making class with chef Tatsu of <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/food/1004-gourmet-the-one-stop-shop-in-dubai-for-asian-speciality-treats-cosmetics-and-eats-1.842386" target="_blank">1004 Gourmet</a>, a paella masterclass at Suq Restaurant and Lowe will be serving a multi-course menu created using food scraps that would otherwise be wasted. The Dubai Food Festival will also be celebrating Eid Al Fitr with its Eid Big Breakfast event — which will offer authentic meals for dine-in and delivery.
