WhatsApp users across the world are reporting issues with the messenger app. On Sunday afternoon, users began reporting issues with sending and receiving images and videos, as well as voice notes. Normal text messages appear to be delivering fine. "We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending and receiving files on WhatsApp. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible," said a Facebook company spokesperson. Website Down Detector showed the scale of problems for the app in the UAE and the UK. Outages are also being reported in Spain, Italy and Denmark. According to Down Detector, problems started being reported shortly before 3pm. Since then, more than 745 people have recorded issues with the app. Many WhatsApp users have also taken to social media to report problems. “I don't know what is happening in WhatsApp..pic not sending @WhatsApp,” wrote one user.
