For many of us, our school days were the best times of our lives, but some Twitter users think it’s only in high school that we enjoyed the best bits.
They sought to back their claim by sharing some of their secondary-school experiences that they could not enjoy in junior school. One user defined her experience in more specific terms – “primary school: depression; middle school: good; high school: best”.
There are others who do not have fond memories of school at all. For them, life began after they stepped into college.
It was during college days, said one user, that he went through a complete transformation, felt more confident and enjoyed independence. It’s the time when you become aware of yourself, he wrote. “And that’s a wonderful experience.”
However, the fact is that when we are in elementary school, we want to be adults – like our parents and teachers, and the people we love and look up to. When we are in middle school, we want to be like our older siblings. During high school, we look forward to joining university. When we are in college or university, we want to start a career. The journey never seems to end.
