Charles Leclerc and Ferrari dominated a drama-filled day of action in practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Leclerc's time of 1 minute, 42.872 seconds was the quickest in Baku, 0.324 seconds ahead of teammate Sebastian Vettel. This was after almost the entire morning session had been cancelled after a loose manhole cover had damaged George Russell's Williams and race stewards had stopped proceedings on safety grounds. World champion Lewis Hamilton was third quickest, but 0.6 secs off Leclerc's pace. Max Verstappen, despite struggling with handling issues, was fourth for Red Bull Racing. Final practice is on Saturday at 2pm UAE time, with qualifying at 5pm. The race is at 4.10pm on Sunday.
