Chelsea have been enjoying a fine run of form in recent weeks, securing eight wins in nine games in all competitions. That run has included their <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/sport/football/frank-lampard-praises-quality-of-christian-pulisic-after-key-cameo-in-chelsea-s-win-over-ajax-1.927771">1-0 victory at Ajax last time out</a> in the Champions League which moved the Premier League club top of Group F, an impressive response having lost their opening game at home to Valencia. Now Chelsea have more reason for optimism after N'Golo Kante made his return to full training in time for the return fixture against Ajax at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. World Cup-winning midfielder Kante has been limited to six appearances this season and has missed Chelsea's last five games with a groin injury sustained on international duty. During his pre-match press conference on Monday, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard revealed Kante is in contention to face Ajax. "He's in the squad, so he's fit," Lampard said. "It looks nicely like the injuries and the few niggles that he was getting have cleared up and we've been able to get some work into him. "It's always a little bit stop-start before that, so yeah, he's in the squad and available."
