Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo oversaw a training session of his squad minus star striker Cristiano Ronaldo as he continues to isolate after contracting Covid-19. Ronaldo, 35, tested positive for coronavirus last Monday, a day after representing Portugal in their Uefa Nations League match against France. The Portuguese Football Federation said the player was <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/cristiano-ronaldo-tests-positive-for-coronavirus-1.1093091">"asymptomatic"</a>. Italy's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora said Ronaldo may have <a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/football/cristiano-ronaldo-violated-covid-19-protocol-says-italy-s-sports-minister-1.1094355">violated</a> coronavirus measures by returning to Turin from Portugal last Thursday after testing positive. While Ronaldo was a notable absence, the rest of the squad were put through their paces at their training complex in Turin, including Alvaro Morata, who scored for Juve in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Crotone in Serie A. Juve open their Champions League campaign away to Ukraine's Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday with Barcelona and Ferencvaros making up Group G.
