Applications for this year's L'Oreal - Unesco for Women in Science Middle East Fellowships are now being accepted. Four fellowships worth €20,000 will be given out to scientists holding a PhD in Life or Physical Sciences, or scientists pursuing a Masters or research leading to a PhD. The initiative is being held in cooperation with Zayed University. Applications can be made via www.fwis.fr. The deadline is June 25.
The competition was launched in 1998 and has since paid recognition to more than 2,250 women from 115 countries.
