ABU DHABI // UAE food prices experienced only slight increases between September and October and in some cases dipped as the global economic slump helped to ease commodity price inflation, a new study has found. The UAE Ministry of Economy's commodity price study for September and October found that dairy prices fell by 0.3 per cent over the period and fruit prices remained stable. Vegetables prices increased by 1.4 per cent, while fish and meat prices rose by 0.2 per cent. Detergent prices were 2.2 per cent higher in October compared to the previous month.
