Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, arrived in Berlin for an official two-day visit to Germany on Tuesday.
He met German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace on Tuesday and is due to meet Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday.
