Dubai motorists will have the opportunity to buy a number plate marking a special date.
The city's Roads and Transport Authority said special five-digit V-plates would be offered for Dh1,670.
It suggested birthdays, wedding days and graduation days are possible options.
Demand for specialised number plates is well established - millionaire Dubai businessman Balwinder Sahni spent Dh33 million on D5 during an auction in 2016.

Sultan Al Marzouqi, director of vehicle licensing, said the plates can bear any date from 1967 to 2018.
Given they are only five-digit, though, the full year would have to be trimmed to '67' or '18'.
"Customers can source their number plates directly from Customer Happiness Centres all over Dubai," the RTA said.
Mr Al Marzouqi said the move "follows the remarkable response generated by previous codes".
