Thousands of Pakistani citizens will be repatriated from the UAE as more special flights have been arranged. Four such flights are scheduled to take off today. A total of 14 flights have been scheduled until April 28, according to a list released by Pakistan’s ministry of foreign affairs. The special flights will help 4,030 Pakistani citizens get home. The Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai will contact those who have been selected to fly out on these flights. The passengers will have to go to the consulate to purchase their tickets<strong>.</strong> Today, two flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) to Lahore and Karachi are scheduled to fly out 500 passengers. Another two flights to Peshawar and Multan are also scheduled for today but the airline or timing of the flight are yet to be revealed. On Saturday, 227 Pakistanis were repatriated on a PIA flight to Islamabad. The consulate of Pakistan in Dubai has received more than 40,000 requests from its citizens in the UAE who wish to return home.
