Private sector holidays to mark Eid Al Adha have been announced.
Workers in the private sector will get Thursday August 31 off for the Islamic holiday, returning to work on Sunday, September 3.
The announcement came via a circular issued by Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation on Thursday.
On Wednesday the public holiday for public sector employees was also announced.
On Tuesday, Saudi Supreme Court said in a statement that Wednesday would be the first day of the Islamic month of Dhu Al Hijjah, making September 1 the first day of Eid Al Adha.
