The American delegation is expected to have spent about $60 million on the project, which will feature the US's cultural and commercial achievements. The US 2020 leadership also announced a raft of collaborations with American companies including Pepsi and Virgin Hyperloop One, who will unveil a hyperloop ride experience at the preparation. Images of the building show a circular structure with slanted supports. The curved face appears illuminated in nighttime images, displaying modern graphics and vast American landscapes. The architect of the pavilion Curtis Fentress, who has also designed airports and convention centres across the US, said he designed the building to represent mobility, movement, travel and sustainability. "We have designed this building to be circular in form with slants fashioned to project a sensation of movement, making the viewer feel like the building itself is in motion," he said, adding, "and then, once you enter the building, it opens up to what the United States stands for: we are an open, accessible country where you can live to create ideas. "It showcases all the things we are doing in America: developing technology and concepts that are going to move us forward in the future." The US leadership also announced a two-year global engagement campaign, "to engage citizens of the US and the world in an awareness journey aligned to the themes of the pavilion," although they did not specify what this would mean. ________________ Read more: Orchestra representing Expo 2020 countries celebrates UAE National Day with anthem Japan's Expo 2020 pavilion to pay homage to Arabic culture Dubai Expo 2020: All you need to know WATCH: Drone footage released of Expo 2020 thematic pavilions
