Video: Dubai pilot captures images of acrobatic jet manoeuvres

DUBAI // A helicopter pilot has captured images of acrobatic manoeuvres of the MB-339 PAN jets flying in formation from his 58th floor Dubai Marina apartment.

Sergio Ivan Orduz Barrera has been watching the skilled jet pilots perform from his home since Sunday.

"It is amazing seeing the planes in low-altitude flights and watching them enter loops and then fly in leaf or diamond and open formations," he said.

"I recognised the aircraft and then checked on the internet to confirm if it was the same planes. The planes start by flying six in formation and sometimes one leaves the formation while the rest finish the exercise. It has been fantastic watching the manoeuvres."

Mr Barrera believes the planes are part of the national aerobatic team in training for the World Parachuting Championships that begin from November 28.
