TORONTO - Prince William and Kate Middleton will be traveling to Canada this summer on their first official trip as a married couple. An official from Canada said late Tuesday the newlyweds will travel across the country from the end of June to mid-July. The two will take part in Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa on July 1. Their stay will also include a trip to the Arctic. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about it publicly. Prime Minister Stephen Harper invited the couple to Canada after they announced their engagement last November. Canada is also issuing stamps in their honor. The wedding is April 29. Queen Elizabeth II is the head of state in Canada, a member of the British Commonwealth of former colonies.
