Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards: BTS and Millie Bobby Brown among winners at slime-filled show

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2021 took place on Saturday night. Although the ceremony was remote, it was not lacking in celebrity appearances, musical performances and, of course, plenty of green slime . Hosted by Saturday Night Live 's Kenan Thompson, BTS, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber were among the musical winners, while Wonder Woman 1984 , Stranger Things and Robert Downey Jr took home TV and film awards on the night. A host of stars made special appearances, including US Vice President Kamala Harris , who was part of the annual Generation Change Award presentation; Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews and JoJo Siwa all also featured throughout the show. The ceremony broke the Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous slimings from different locations at the same time. Nickelodeon sent out bottles of slime so families could participate in the record from the comfort of their own homes, as part of the remote ceremony. The evening was closed by Justin Bieber , who also won the favourite Male aArtist award. Bieber teamed up with rapper Quavo to perform Intentions , followed by a medley of Hold On and Anyone .
