<em>Gully Boy</em> star and newlywed Ranveer Singh sat front and centre at the Asiavision Awards in Dubai on Saturday night - helping to honour the stars of South Indian and Bollywood cinema. The Bollywood star sat with legendary actress Tollywood actress Trisha and Tamil actor Dhanush - who is a Renaissance man, and also a successful producer, screenwriter, director, lyricist and singer. The awards are in their 13th year, and this year Dhanush won best actor (critic's choice) for <em>Vada Chennai</em>, and Ranveer Singh won best actor (general). Kiara Advani won Emerging Star of the Year, while Jim Sarbh won best actor (villain role) for <em>Padmaavat</em>. Meanwhile, Trisha won best actress of the decade, with the organisers noting her roles in <em>96 </em>and <em>Hey Jude </em>as recent highlights. Ranveer Singh wore a blue Rohit Gandhi suit for the occasion, with his hair in his trademark quiff, and thanked his fans for coming out to support him, despite the rain. The actor has already been spotted back in Mumbai, so his UAE trip was a flying visit.
