Tamer Hosny certainly enjoys a duet collaboration when the opportunity allows it. Throughout his career, the Egyptian superstar has collaborated with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Shaggy and Akon. Regionally, he's also worked on songs with Cheb Khaled, Jannat and Mahmoud Esseily – to name a few. Now, Hosny has come together with Egyptian actor Asser Yassin for a new song. Yassin announced the news during a television interview on MBC Masr with host Ali Amer. "Tamer and I are preparing for a surprise," Yassin said during the interview. "It'll be our first collaboration." "I sent him a message and told him 'how about we do a song together?'," Yassin explained. While the title of the song has not yet be revealed, it has been written by Hamada Al Sayed and composed by Madeeh Mohsen. Yassin, who is today one of the most prominent actors in Egyptian television, has been cast to play a leading role in the Arabic version of the popular American series Suits, which has been adapted by Mohamed Amin Rady and will be directed by Khaled Marey. He was also a jury member at the El Gouna Film Festival in 2020. Actor, producer and singer Hosny has most recently performed the official song for the World Handball Championship for Men, which is being hosted by Egypt until January 31.
