Fiesta De Los Muertos has announced Stormzy will join the line up as pop star Nick Jonas is now out. The UK grime star will return to Dubai to perform at the Halloween themed music festival at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena on October 27. In a press release, Jonas said: “I was really looking forward to meeting my fans in Dubai... However, I regret to announce that I am now unable to perform this year. I hope to be a part of the Halloween concert next year." However, fans shouldn't worry about the absence of the pop star. The 24-year-old rapper, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Junior, will hit the stage on the back of this year's acclaimed debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, which has already spawned the hits Big for Your Boots and Cold. Stormzy will be ready by the time he arrives in Dubai. He already a completed an extensive UK tour this year which was crowned by a headlining set at the mammoth Glastonbury Festival last month. “Just looking at his various collaborations with other stars you can see the reach of Stormzy and so we feel he fits perfectly with the other festival talents, spanning various genres and age groups and for what will be a fantastic, spooky yet fun Halloween themed night out,” said Thomas Ovesen, the head of festival promoters 117Live. Also tapped to perform at the festival is Consoul Trainin. The Dubai based producer and DJ recently released the club favourite Take Me to Infinity and has remixed tracks such as Zhu's Faded and Monoir Osaka's Violin Song. Both artists have already joined announced headliners, the experimental pop crew Gorillaz, , Lebanese Canadian R&B singer Massari and the Mexican group The Mariachis. More artists are to perform at the festival with announcements coming soon. Tickets begin from Dh350 from www.117live.com ____________________ ____________________
