<span>American rock legends Guns N’ Roses have just been announced as the latest act to perform at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 after-race concerts.</span> <span>The band will return to the region to play the prestigious race-day show, on November 25 at du Arena on Yas Island. They last performed in Dubai in March 2017.</span> <span>The legendary rock-metal band has been on the road and making music since 1985, and the group’s make-up of has changed over the decades, the current line-up consisting of frontman Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and Richard Fortus on guitars, Frank Ferrer on drums, and Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese on keyboards. </span> <span>Promoters Flash Entertainment made the announcement yesterday after dropping hints about the band over the past few days on social media. One of the postings on their Twitter account said: </span> : <span>Of course, one of the biggest songs from Guns N' Roses is their power ballad </span><span><em>November Rain</em></span><span>. </span> According to head of Flash Entertainment John Lickrish, it was Guns and Roses that approached the company for a possibly Abu Dhabi show. "They actually heard about how great the race was from drive Kimi Raikkonen and he wanted to get involved," he said. “Front man Axle Rose is a big formula one fan and big gear head.” Guns N' Roses are currently on their Not In This Lifetime tour: <span>Their inclusion in the 2018 line-up marks another year of high-profile Abu Dhabi F1 after-race concerts.
