Just a month after headlining a Halloween gig at Base Dubai, Jason Derulo is set to return to the region. The American R&B star will perform in Saudi Arabia next week, headlining the end of the three-day Nexus Festival. The <em>Want to Want Me</em> singer will perform in Riyadh on Saturday, December 7, festival organiser Riot Games announced today. Derulo, 30, who has sold more than 30 million records during his career, is as known for his own tracks – think <em>Marry Me, Too Hot</em> and <em>Swalla </em>– as well as those he pens for his fellow musicians. The singer-songwriter, who has collaborated with the likes of Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj and Little Mix, has has written songs for Lil Wayne, Diddy and Meghan Trainor. He will take to the stage at the festival venue on Riyadh Boulevard, with tickets now on sale from SAR 80 (Dh78) for the event's final day. The Nexus, which takes place between Thursday, December 5 and Saturday, December 7, is a videogame-themed festival that revolves around battle arena title <em>League of Legends.</em> Los Angeles DJ Mako will headline the festival's first night, while EDM stars Crystal Method will entertain the crowd on Friday, December 6. The event, which forms part of Riyadh Season, will feature interactive zones, activities and experiences based on the popular multiplayer game. There will also be a host of tournaments held over the three days, with $2 million (Dh7.3 million) of prize money up for grabs across six competitions. <em>Passes to The Nexus start from SAR 25 for one-day access on Thursday, December 5, with three-day tickets starting from SAR 110.
