The playlists are mostly designed by </span><span><em>The National</em></span><span>'s in-house team of music nerds, with </span><span>musicians and celebrities occasionally invited as guest curators.</span> <span>The 'AUH to DXB' playlist is dedicated to take the edge off those long drives from the capital to other emirates. With a selection of classic pop tracks ranging from the 1980s to the present day, including Justin Timberlake's </span><span><em>Can't Stop The Feeling</em></span><span>, the hour-long selection is created </span><span>to lead </span><span>mass singalongs down Sheikh Zayed Road.</span> <span>'Abu Dhabi Nights' is dedicated to the evening hours. The playlist may change </span><span>in terms of style, but what holds </span><span>it all together is the calm and reflective nocturnal vibe.</span> <span>This week’s selection is full of cool indie tunes ranging from the haunting voice of Canadian singer Neko Case to the ambient sounds of New York’s Kronos Quartet.</span> <span>Gym-goers, or those looking to start the habit, should refer to our ‘Fit List’ playlist, which is full of high-energy pop songs – from Calvin Harris to Portugal.
