Ameesha Patel has landed in Dubai to film a new web series in locations across the UAE. The Bollywood actress first revealed she was in town on Thursday, August 27, by tweeting a photo of herself beside a Porsche Cayenne with a Dubai licence plate. “Dubai…” she wrote in the caption. “Work mode.” The web series, 7th Sense, is being produced by Gaurang Doshi and is directed by Karan Darra. The murder mystery also stars Prateik Babbar from Chhichhore and Swedish-Greek actress Elli AvrRam, who is known for her work in Bollywood. “Audiences will be enthralled with the spectacular locales, gripping storylines, fascinating plot and glamorous sets presented in these intriguing murder mysteries,” Doshi said about the show earlier this year. He said shooting for the first two seasons would be “completed in about 140 days, with most of the action happening in Dubai and Abu Dhabi”. Crew members began arriving in Dubai earlier this month, because the series was expected to start filming in the UAE on Thursday, August 20. There is no word yet on whether it has begun but it seems, for the time being, Patel is enjoying her time in Dubai, hanging out at Palazzo Versace at Jaddaf Waterfront. In another photo – posted on Sunday, August 30 – the Humraaz star is seen standing next to a red Lamborghini near the entrance to Palazzo Versace, wearing a face mask and disposable gloves. Patel has previously spoken about her fondness for the UAE. While talking to Indian media about the web series, she said: “I am extremely excited to make my debut in a web series, with such a wonderful concept and content, and am equally excited to start the web series in the UAE, a country that I am so fond of and visit very often. “I love the people, the culture, the food and the glamorous and larger-than-life locations that are going to make the web series even more thrilling. It certainly feels great to start working after being in lockdown for four months.”
