The trailer for Phoebe Waller-Bridge's latest project is here. HBO series, Run, has been produced by the British Fleabag star, and written by her long-time collaborator, Vicky Jones. Jones has also worked on scripts for Killing Eve, Fleabag and Crashing. The romantic-comedy-drama series follows a pair of college exes, Ruby Dixie (Merritt Wever) and Billy Johnson (Domhnall Gleeson), who make a pact to escape together should the other ever message them the word 'run'. The trailer sees the pair meet 15 years after hatching their plan, on their pre-decided train – "the first train after 5" – and quickly have second thoughts – "who does this? Oh my God, what will I say?" utters Ruby, while sitting on the train with Billy. He asks, "To who?" And while it isn't answered in the trailer, the implied is Ruby's husband, who she appears to be walking out on. He will be played by Rich Sommer, who has also starred in Glow and Mad Men. Waller-Bridge is set to guest-star in the series, as a woman that the pair meet on their journey, as are Tamara Podemski (Unsettled, Coroner) as a brilliantly named police detective Babe Cloud, and Archie Panjabi (I Origins, The Good Wife, Blindspot) as Fiona, Billy's ex-PA. The series is scheduled to debut on HBO in the US on Sunday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 15 on Sky Comedy in the UK. In the UAE, with OSN's HBO tie-up, the show will air on OSN and be available to stream on Wavo from Monday, April 13; the exact time is yet to be announced.
