Kris Fade and Two Tone to perform in Dubai at RedfestDXB

The popular radio host Kris Fade has revealed a new collaboration with the Moroccan rapper Two Tone. The new single In It for Love made its debut on Wednesday on Virgin Radio and will be available on iTunes Middle East on Monday and iTunes worldwide on February 11. You can see a performance of the upbeat track (with screwball lyrics such as: "You ever heard of love at first sight? No? You just might if the Jimmy Choo fits right") when both artists take the stage as part of RedfestDXB at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on February 12 and 13. Bombay Velvet poster released on Twitter

The first look of the neo-noir drama Bombay Velvet, which features Ranbir Kapoor, was meant to come out on January 29, but the filmmaker Anurag Kashyap unveiled it on Twitter a day before. The poster has Kapoor, who portrays a street fighter and boxer, posing in a cage. Based on Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, the film is set in Mumbai in the 1950s and 1960s. The cast also includes Anushka Sharma, Kay Kay Menon and the filmmaker Karan Johar as the villain. Bombay Velvet comes out on May 14. – IANS

John Legend and ­Common to ­perform Glory at Academy Awards

Common and John Legend will perform their Oscar-nominated song Glory at the Academy Awards. The song is from the civil-rights drama Selma and is among the five nominees for Best Song. The other four are Everything Is Awesome from The Lego Movie; Grateful from Beyond the Lights; I'm Not Gonna Miss You from Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me; and Lost Stars from Begin Again. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences also announced on Tuesday that the Let It Go songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are writing an original number for the host Neil Patrick Harris. The pair won the Best Song Oscar last year for the Frozen song. The 87th Oscars will be held on February 22 in Los Angeles. – AP

Katie Holmes on Ray Donovan

The actress Katie Holmes is joining the Showtime drama Ray Donovan for its third season. The former Dawson's Creek star will play businesswoman Paige, daughter of the billionaire producer Andrew Finney (played by Ian McShane). Finney enlists the services of the show's title character, a Hollywood fixer played by Liev Schreiber. Ray Donovan started production this week for its third season, which is expected to screen this summer. Holmes recently played Jackie Kennedy in the television mini-series The Kennedys.– AP

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett among Grammy duets set

The 57th annual Grammy Awards will feature a number of collaborative performances, including Lady Gaga with Tony Bennett and Adam Levine with Gwen Stefani. Annie Lennox will be paired with newcomer Hozier and Jessie J with Tom Jones at the February 8 show in Los Angeles. Gaga and Bennett's duet album, Cheek to Cheek, is nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal album. Hozier is nominated for Song of the Year for Take Me to Church, while Jessie J is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Bang Bang with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. Pharrell Williams, Beyoncé and Sam Smith are the Grammy leaders with six nominations apiece. They will compete for the Album of the Year, along with Ed Sheeran and Beck. Smith, Sheeran and Williams will also take the stage. Other performers include AC/DC, Madonna, Grande, Eric Church, Common, John Legend, Miranda Lambert and Usher. – AP

Audrey Tautou and Matthew Weiner on Berlin film fest jury

The Amélie actress Audrey Tautou and the Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner are among the seven jury members for this year's Berlin Film Festival, which will be led by the director Darren Aronofsky. The Rush actor Daniel Brühl, The Host director Bong Joon-ho, the Hannibal producer Martha De Laurentiis and Claudia Llosa, the director of The Milk of Sorrow, will also be among those deciding who wins at the 65th Berlinale. Among the premieres this year are Terrence Malick's drama Knight of Cups – starring Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman – and the British director Peter Greenaway's new movie, Eisenstein in Guanajuato, about the legendary Soviet filmmaker's journey to Mexico. The festival, which opens on February 5 with Nobody Wants the Night featuring Juliette Binoche, runs until February 15. – AP
