The man-made river within Dubai Parks and Resorts is gradually filling up, just as it’s expected the theme parks will with visitors when the precinct opens next month.
Situated in the heart of the new entertainment destination, Riverland Dubai is the first such man-made river to be constructed in a theme park.
Dubai Parks and Resorts is due to open Legoland Dubai, Legoland Waterpark, Motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai on October 31. Uniquely, visitors will be able to take boat rides and access the restaurants lined on its banks, even without a pass to one of the theme parks.
The area will have more than 50 restaurants and retail outlets within four zones: The French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate and The Peninsula.
The zones reflect the golden eras that will be underscored in the cuisine offered in the food outlets, as well.
The French Village will take visitors back to medieval France, while Boardwalk will showcase the best from the 1950s America. India Gate will highlight some of the best work and food from colonial India while The Peninsula will provide a 19th century flair.
There will also be street theatre and entertainment lined up for families at every zone.
