Dubai apartments often have views, which is hardly surprising given that it’s a city that prides itself on its ability to scale new heights.

If you are selling or buying an apartment the view becomes integral to the overall value, and this apartment in Dubai’s World Trade Centre Residence is at the heart of the city, overlooking what was the Middle East’s tallest building for 25 years and staring at the world’s tallest building.

It is on the market for Dh13 million and while its panoramic views are incredible, being very nearly at the top of the 38-floor building, the price is because of its interior. It has been widely reported that the recovery of the Dubai property market has had something of a slow down this year, and it is worth noting that this apartment has been up for sale for the past eight months.

“The owner knows how much he spent redeveloping the apartment and understands its prime location,” says Conny Mathei, an estate agent with Better Homes. “He doesn’t need to sell and believes the price with the fabulous furniture, the incredible views and the amount of work done is fair. Apartments at this price point just need to find the correct buyer.”
