Ramadan is a time for giving — and that certainly seems to be the case for retailers in the UAE. A total of 650 co-op societies and other supermarkets are offering discounts of 50 to 75 per cent on more than 10,000 commodities with total savings estimated at Dh350 million, according to the Ministry of Economy. Car dealers have special offers, including thousands of dirhams worth of cashback and reductions. But you don’t even have to leave the house with e-tailers and stores offering online Ramadan deals. Here are six websites where you can get discounts in this month of generosity. The new site, previously souq.com in the UAE, has a dedicated Ramadan section with discounts of up to 60 per cent.
