The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has revealed statistics for the second quarter of this year. The agency said that more than 77 per cent of all handsets on UAE networks were smartphones during the quarter. Overall, the top four brands in the country were Samsung, with 33.3 per cent of the market share, Nokia (27 per cent), Apple (13.6 per cent) and BlackBerry (1.8 per cent).
