It seems he was dining at Cleo's Table Dubai, a Mediterranean eatery at the resort. Bollywood star Sunny Leone was in Dubai for a break in early January. She made 'Dubai Diaries' for her Twitter fans, which included ice skating at The Dubai Mall and dinner with a Burj Khalifa view. Spanish-Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi and his TV star partner Hiba Abouk spent early January in Dubai. The pair rang in 2020 in the UAE and paid a visit to the Belhasa farm, where they met lions and tigers, among other animals. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/arts-culture/film/bollywood-actor-akshay-kumar-films-scenes-for-new-movie-laxmmi-bomb-in-dubai-1.963140">spotted in Dubai </a>filming scenes for his upcoming film <em>Laxmmi Bomb</em>. The actor, who is no stranger to the UAE, has been filming in the Dubai desert, as well as in Dubai Marina and at the Burj Khalifa. Dubai will feature as the backdrop for a song sequence in the upcoming comedy-horror, which is set for release in May. The action hero was in the UAE at the end of November for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and he is back already (or maybe never left?) The movie star was spotted at Aya Dubai on Friday, January 10, where he posed with the chef, Chris. The <em>Eastenders </em>and <em>I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! </em>star Jacqueline Jossa and her <em>The Only Way Is Essex</em> husband Dan Osborne are in Dubai this week. The couple were spotted laughing as they made their way down JBR. English footballer Daniel Sturridge was another visitor at the Belhasa farm. Saif Belhasa showed the footballer around his mini-zoo of impressive animals. He fed a giraffe, a bear and a cute pair of lemurs. Professional German footballer Jerome Boateng rang in the New Year in Dubai. He also trained with a Burj Al Arab view and met animals at the Belhasa farm. England footballer Wayne Bridge and ex-Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge were in Dubai for New Year's Eve, which they seemed to spend at a party with UAE-based friends. They made the trip a family holiday with their children, Parker and Carter, and enjoyed beach days and meals out at Madinat Jumeirah. The British magician was also in Dubai for New Year's Eve and shared a video from the beach at Jumeirah Al Naseem. In the video, he confirmed that he'll be back with a new magic TV show in 2020. Celebrity action man and presenter of TV series <em>SAS: Who Dares Wins</em>, Ant Middleton, was with the Bridges, Dynamo and his family at the beginning of January. It seems they got a private show with Dynamo as a NYE treat. Italian fashion blogger and entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni was in the UAE at the beginning of January. With her husband, Italian rapper Fedez, and their son, Leone (1), Ferragni had a Salt Bae experience, checked into the One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai, enjoyed a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/360457261094611/nara-escape/">Nara Escape</a> desert experience and visited the Dubai Aquarium and Burj Khalifa. She also posted a photo of herself at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. US rapper Saweetie performed at Toy Room this weekend, and posted photos of herself having the time of her life in a hotel room following her gig. Sticking around to see the sights, she also paid At.Mosphere, Burj Khalifa a visit in a dramatic green gown. Like Saweetie, A$AP Ferg was meant to be performing at Drai's Dubai and White Dubai, but his sets were moved to Toy Room. He told fans on Instagram: "In Dubai for a week holla [at] me." You heard the man. <em>Coronation Street</em> actress Helen Flanagan was at the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa with her footballer husband, Scott Sinclair, and their two daughters, Matilda and Delilah. The family enjoyed time by the hotel's pool and beach, and at The Dubai Mall. British-Kurdish stand-up comedian Kae Kurd was in Dubai for some January sun. He posted observations about the city, including: "Dubai is what happens when you play <em>Sims City </em>and have the money to do it In real life." He later shared selfies sunbathing, a photo of himself at Miss Lily's, a Burj Khalifa shot and classic dune-bashing desert pictures. When he was spotted in Dubai, he joked that he was "Mr Worldwide", Pitbull style. Indian playback singer <span>Neha</span> <span>Kakkar</span> played at Dubai's Global Village on Friday, January 10. The <em>Indian Idol</em> judge and playback singer performed a set of Bollywood favourites, including<em> Fikar, Wah Wah Wah, Odhani, and Hauli Hauli.</em> Indian actress Sana Sultan Khan is in Dubai this week, and has been posing up a storm at the Burj Khalifa, in Dubai Marin,a and with fast cars and a Downtown Dubai skyline. Nigerian-American actor and singer Rotimi and his Tanzanian singer wife, Vanessa Mdee, have been exploring the souq of Old Dubai and Al Seef as a twosome. They have also been up the Burj Khalifa to enjoy the city view. It appears they are here with Dubai Shopping Festival and Visit Dubai. Influencer Farhana Bodi enjoyed a "dinner date which turned into a fashion shoot" with Rabih Rowell, the co-founder and creative director of fashion brand Anomalous Monism. The pair dined at Shanghai Me in Dubai's DIFC. Kyrgyz pop and opera singer Samara Karimova is in Dubai, staying the Atlantis, The Palm with her husband. Indian influencer Diipa Buller-Khosla is staying at the Park Hyatt Dubai in her "very own private lagoon". While in the UAE, she has explored Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood and Downtown Dubai. The British professional dancer, and ex of One Direction's Liam Payne, is in Abu Dhabi. She stayed at the Abu Dhabi Edition and explored the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the desert and beach. Scottish model and Instagrammer Emily Shak was spotted living her best life at the Five Jumeirah Village. Her photos were mainly in-room shoots, posing in clothes for paid-for posts, but she also seemed to venture to the Five Palm Jumeirah Dubai, where she posed with a well-lit (driveway) backdrop. Popular Syrian singer<strong> </strong>Mahmoud Al Turki dazzled crowds with a gig at Global Village for its weekly concert series on Friday, January 3.
