The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's five-day tour of Pakistan has come to an end, and the duchess has reflected upon their visit to the country in a touching Instagram post. Speaking of the <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/lifestyle/royals-in-pakistan-duke-and-duchess-of-cambridge-arrive-in-lahore-1.924763">SOS Village</a> in Lahore, which they visited on their fourth day in the country, the royal wrote, "The community at the SOS Village is built around family – and the best possible family you could imagine – where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care. "These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive." The visit to the SOS Village in Lahore took place shortly after landing in the city. The couple visited the centre, which provides a home and family for 150 young orphans. It has been widely reported just how much the royals enjoyed their time in Pakistan. In a chat with CNN, the duchess spoke about their "really special" trip to the "fantastic" country. Speaking of the SOS village in particular, she said, "There's so many vulnerable women here but they've really used their positivity and the support that the village here provides them. "They have done it to support and protect the next generation of children in their care and give them the best possible start to their future lives." They took part in a singalong, ate some birthday cake with the children and the duchess gave a speech, even delivering a few works in Urdu, thanking the organisers of the event and the charity. The couple are now back home in England, with children, Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one. But since departing on Friday, October 18, the couple have shared a video of their highlights from the tour.
