<span>In January 2008, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque welcomed its first</span><span> visitors. In March that year, the second</span><span> Art Dubai took place, and it was twice the size of the inaugural event. In November, </span><span>The Dubai Mall opened.</span> <span>That year, Eid Al Fitr began on the evening of Tuesday, September 30.
