Chanel’s SS20 showcase at Paris Fashion Week was gatecrashed by an unwanted runway invader. The showcase on the morning of Tuesday, October 1 is one of the biggest in Paris Fashion Week's calendar, with invitations among the most coveted in the industry. But one audience member got a little carried away as she clambered onto the stage among the models for the final showcase. The invader has since been identified as French comedian Marie Benoliel, who goes by the name of Marie S’infiltre online. Benoliel was swiftly stopped in her tracks by half-Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid, who approached her and eventually strong-armed her into exiting the runway, with the help of some of her fellow models. It is unclear whether Benoliel had been invited to the show, or had managed to slip in through the event’s tight security. It is not the first time the comedian has pulled a stunt like this. Earlier this week, she managed to crash the Etam show in a similar fashion. Hadid was joined on the Chanel catwalk by fellow supermodels Kai Gerber and Grace Elizabeth, while Cardi B and Anna Wintour were among the famous faces on the front row. _________________ Read more: _________________
