Superstar Rihanna is jetting into Dubai later this month for an "artistry" talk in her capacity as the founder of successful make-up and beauty range Fenty. The event will be on Saturday, September 29, and tickets certainly don't come cheap: according to Ticketmaster, they will start at Dh5,500 and go up to Dh7,500. The site does, however, point out that money made will go towards Dubai Cares to help the charity's work in developing countries. Rihanna, 30, will be joined by her global make-up artists Hector Espinal and Priscilla Ono. Tickets for the event, which is being held in collaboration with Sephora, will go on sale on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 5 for Sephora Gold Members and on Thursday for everyone else. An exact location hasn't been announced yet. Kim Kardashian West held a beauty masterclass in January 2017 - which was initially postponed after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016. Tickets for that event started from Dh5,870. Fenty Beauty has been a wildly successful venture for the Barbadian singer: in January, WWD said that Fenty was outselling all other established celebrity make-up lines. The inclusive range of shades available have played a pivotal part in its success, it said. The brand, which was part of Time magazine's list of 25 Best Inventions of the Year in 2017, has been credited with enabling many women to find their shade of foundation for the very first time (read more about that here). And while the pop legend isn't coming to the UAE to perform first-and-foremost, here's hoping she adds a quick show to her itinerary (she did perform in Abu Dhabi in 2013). We will certainly let you know if she does. _______________________ Read more: The shape of things to come: has Rihanna started a skinny brow trend? Beyoncé helps to lift up small, ethical Egyptian fashion label Doing it together: How women (finally) took over the music charts in 2018 _______________________
