From David Bowie to Pokemon, Vans is known for its outlandish sneaker collaborations. And its latest collection looks set to be its most popular yet. After months of teasing, the skate wear company has just released its Harry Potter collection which includes footwear, accessories and clothing inspired by the four houses of Hogwarts. News of the collaboration was first released back in April when Vans released a statement which read: "Vans and Harry Potter collaborated to conjure up a magical collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories for witches, wizards, and muggles alike." Fans were given an email address to sign up to for more news on the collaboration, and this week they finally got to see it. Each of the four houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff – has its own style of classic Van trainer. "The footwear, named and styled after each house from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, will feature four exclusive colourways in Vans' classic silhouettes -- a Sk8-Hi for Gryffindor, an Era for Slytherin, Authentic for Ravenclaw and the Classic Slip-On for Hufflepuff," Vans said in a statement. The collection also includes a Dark Arts-themed backpack and a newspaper print shoe, covered with The Daily Prophet clippings. The collaboration is currently available to buy in the US and Europe.
