• Buddha-Bar in Grosvenor House Dubai is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend. In what's being dubbed "the biggest closing party of the summer", the marina hotspot will host not one but two famous DJs. On Thursday July 23, DJ Glass Coffee will spin the decks before Buddha Bar stalwart, DJ Ravin, gets the crowd jumping on Friday July 24 from 8pm onwards. Both events are free entry.
• BOA Steakhouse in Abu Dhabi's Eastern Mangroves Promenade has launched a new, limited-edition set menu for two. Priced at Dh495, the deal offers diners a sizable Porterhouse Steak to share, with a duo of side dishes and two hours of unlimited select beverages. • In case you didn't have your diary marked, it's Peruvian Independence day on July 28th. Situated within Restaurant Village in Dubai's Four Season's Hotel, Coya will be marking the occasion in style. Electoral College Victory
Trump has so far secured 295 Electoral College votes, according to the Associated Press, exceeding the 270 needed to win. Only Nevada and Arizona remain to be called, and both swing states are leaning Republican. Trump swept all five remaining swing states, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, sealing his path to victory and giving him a strong mandate.
