If you feel like chilling out in Abu Dhabi but can't be bothered to get down to the Corniche, then head to the Grand Millenium Al Wahda's rooftop shisha lounge. <b>•</b> The hotel, located right beside Al Wahda Mall by the Abu Dhabi bus station has re-opened its rooftop shisha lounge now that the sweltering summer is over. Open from 8pm to midnight every Thursday and Friday evening, the lounge has begun showing classic Arabic films. Shisha pipes begin at Dh50. <b>• </b> The Ivy in Dubai has introduced its take on the classic Friday brunch. Costing Dh275, it is billed as a "family-friendly affair" and runs from 12 noon - 4pm. "Whet the appetite with a round of eggs Benedict or half a dozen rock oysters, before moving ont o a hearty roast beef and Yorkshire pudding main course or some delicious potato gnocchi with mozzarella, slow-cooked tomatoes and basil. Treat yourself to a weekend pudding with dishes including a white chocolate cheesecake with lemon or apple pie with custard." Children get their own menu, which includes miniature versions of adult dishes. Those under 10 eat for free. Cocktails are available to order and priced individually. <b>• </b> The Hard Rock Cafe Dubai is finally open, and no it's not that abandoned eyesore you pass on Sheikh Zayed Road every day. The "bigger and better" cafe, offering even more memorabilia, has relocated to a 26,400-square-foot space that can accommodate 350 people in Dubai Festival City.
