<strong>Winter menu at 99 Sushi</strong> <span>The fine-dining Japanese restaurant in The Galleria celebrates the upcoming fuyu (winter) season with a selection of updated dishes that take in warmth-inducing flavours, such as tangy mango, yellow chilli, caviar and cream-based sauces. Among the newcomers are: sea urchin tempura with shiso leaves, egg yolk and butter; toro tartar (fatty tuna belly) with caviar, soya sauce and wasabi; sakane nabe (sauteed fish) in a bouillabaisse made of yellow chilli, mussels and foie; and dragonfly maki with prawn, king crab, avocado black tobiko and a spicy-creamy sauce. Chef-patron to One&Only The Palm, Alleno will create two dining experiences at his restaurant Stay by Yannick Alleno, featuring dishes such as gold corn consomme, cepes mushroom stew, poached tabot, master Kobe grade 9 Wagyu with sweet potato and seaweed jelly; and for dessert, citrus vacherin and caramelised pear. Visitors can sample dishes from the property’s multi-cuisine restaurants, including Seafood Market, Long Yin (Chinese), Casa Mia (Italian), Sukothai, Jules Bar (Tex-Mex), Kiku (Japanese), Warehouse and M’s Grill (for meat- and barbecue-lovers), and international fare from Yalumba. The usual fast-food suspects – Shake Shack, Papa Murphy’s, Chili’s, Nando’s, Which Wich – aside, the list also takes in Jones the Grocer, Circle Cafe, The Raw Place, Asha’s, Falafel Sultan, Oregano, Reem Al Bawadi, Shakespeare & Co, Mugg & Bean, Yamu and Taqado, plus for dessert, M’oishi and both Krispy Kreme and Glazed.
