Cannes celebrity hotspot Baoli is opening its doors in Dubai. The restaurant-cum-nightspot is one of the French Riviera’s most famous party spots, and has welcomed the likes of Bono, Jay Z and Eva Mendes in the past. Baoli's Dubai outpost has been in the works for some time, and it looks set to open its doors later this year at the Gate Village 11 in Dubai International Financial Centre. While details on the venue are being kept under wraps, the ninth-floor spot is likely to follow a similar concept to its Cannes flagship – a restaurant, bar and some form of outdoor terrace. The food at Baoli is a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian fare, with a particular focus on fresh seafood. Baoli will be in good company in Gate Village 11; New York celebrity hotspot Indochine is also set to open its first international branch there later this year, alongside Madrid favourite Amazonico. Dubai’s Gate Village 11, or The Exchange Building, will be a mixture of art galleries and fine dining options once it opens its doors later this year. _________________ Read more: New restaurants and menus to try in Dubai Pierre Gagnaire to create menu for Fouquet’s, opening at Louvre Abu Dhabi 'World's biggest vegan restaurant' to open in Dubai _________________
