Get a taste of Australia at Jones the Grocer throughout January

If you’re an Aussie, or even if you’re not, you may be interested in getting a taste of Australia this month in celebration of the country’s national day which falls on January 26.

Jones the Grocer is paying tribute to its Australian roots by honouring all things Oz. This will include a special menu on offer for three weeks, Australian-themed masterclasses and a range of retail products from Australian producers.

The quintessentially Aussie menu is available at several Jones the Grocer locations until February 5 and contains dishes off of the original Jones the Grocer menu and other traditional classics like; sweet corn fritters with cherry tomato relish, poached egg and rocket, the great Aussie wagyu burger topped with fried egg, pineapple and beetroot, and for dessert, a mixed berry pavlova.

Masterclasses demonstrating the preparation of the perfect surf & turf are offered on a variety of dates and locations throughout January. The classes start from Dh375 per person and include a 10 per cent retail discount.

To further celebration Australia Day, which falls on January 26, the outlets will have a fully stocked range of Australian specialty products like Luke Mangan’s spices & rubs, oils and chocolates; Maggie Beer’s verjuice and fruit pastes; Farmgate Cheese’s jams, oils and fruit roladas; raw and vegan Pana Chocolate assortment and a variety of The Regimental Condiment Company brand sauces, relishes and jams.
