Posting on its Facebook page, Bu! shared the news of its closure, while thanking customers for their support over the past few years. “All good things must come to an end,” the post reads. “It is with a heavy heart we announce that we will be closing our doors by the end of this month. “We are so grateful for all of you who chose to make memories with us and everyone who has contributed to the success of BU!” While they are yet to announce the official closing date, a spokesperson confirmed the restaurant would serve its last meal by the end of May, and would be offering customers deals over the coming days. “Let’s make our closing as epic and celebratory as our opening,” the post continued. “See you all in the next few days with exciting closing offers.” The news came as a shock to diners in Abu Dhabi, many of whom said they would be sad to see the restaurant go. Replying to the restaurant’s statement, one commenter said: “That's really sad news. Such a beautiful restaurant with original interior design and one of the best outdoor areas in the city. I've had many fantastic brunches here. Very sad to see Bu close down.” “Sad news. It is one of the finest restaurants in Abu Dhabi,” added another. While Bu! was unable to say what the closing offers would be yet, diners are told to keep an eye on the restaurant’s social media channels over the coming days.
