When it’s time to get out and enjoy dining at restaurants in Dubai again, there will be an exciting new addition waiting. Popular Japanese restaurant 99 Sushi will be opening its doors in Downtown this summer, bringing with it its famed dishes and sleek vibe. Despite its Japanese cuisine, 99 Sushi originally made a name for itself in Spain thanks to its award-winning Madrid restaurant. It opened a branch at Abu Dhabi’s Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island back in 2017, which has been popular with diners in the capital. The new eatery, opening at Address Downtown, will feature plush interiors and ornate gold fixtures, with intimate seating and the option to watch the chefs at work. The restaurant will also feature a large outdoor terrace offering views of the Burj Khalifa. On the menu, you can expect 99 Sushi’s signature dishes, including foie gras nigiri, spicy tuna tartar and its popular crispy tiger prawn tempura. The restaurant will open its doors on Thursday,July 2 and will be open daily from 12pm to 12am, with the terrace staying open until 2am, although timings are subject to change. _________________ Read more: Calicut Paragon owner shares tips on what he thinks restaurants need to do to survive the pandemic Dubai chef Reif Othman opens new Palm Jumeirah restaurant amid pandemic Say goodbye to Ruya Dubai as you know it: the Turkish restaurant has closed at Grosvenor House _________________
