When homegrown brand Salt first launched in Dubai in 2014, it revolutionised the food truck scene with its #FindSalt concept. The premise was that Dubai foodies had to follow the brand’s social media in order to find its location on Kite Beach, and were rewarded for their efforts with signature shakes and sliders. Over the years, the popular homegrown branch, which was started by Emirati Amal Al Marri and Saudi Arabian Deem Al Bassam, has launched branches in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah as well as in Saudi Arabia, while staying true to its original concept with creative pop-ups and marketing plans. In keeping with this, Dubai residents can now “find Salt” in a new Instagram-worthy setting: DIFC. Salt first launched its pop-up in DIFC for Dubai Watch Week, offering residents exclusive winter burgers along with dishes like s’mores softies and banana splits. Even though Dubai Watch Week concluded on Sunday, November 24, Salt has continued to remain in DIFC, as part of its winter camp, and has further extended its stay until Saturday, December 28 due to popular demand. The pop-up is open from 1pm to 11.30pm. Until Saturday, December 26; 1pm to 11.30pm; DIFC; www.find-salt.com
