The 29-year-old has spent the last couple of weeks in Dubai and based, on her Instagram feed, has been making the most of her time in the Emirates. The German-Filipino pageant winner arrived on April 18 and posted a photograph in front of Emerald Palace Kempinski, where she asked for recommendations on what to do while in town. It seems she took some of her fans' suggestions to heart, as other highlights include posing in front of the Burj Al Arab, enjoying a view of Atlantis, The Palm, travelling to the souks in Al Seef, enjoying some time in the desert and of course, going skydiving. Wurtzbach rose to fame when she was mistakenly named the runner-up of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant after host Steve Harvey accidentally read aloud the wrong name. Since then, she's gone into acting, appearing in films and television shows including her own travel show called Pia's Postcards, which screens on ABS-CBN's Channel 2 in The Philippines. She was in Dubai last March to shoot an episode for the show. “I’ll focus on this (acting career in the Philippines) first,” the actress said back then. “I still feel like there are a few more things that I’d like to try here but I haven’t forgotten that other big dream that I have.” __________________ Read more:
