Affordable Scandinavian accessories at Nordic Bliss

The Norwegian interiors enthusiast Marianne Lamberth missed Scandinavian home accessories so much when she moved to the UK five years ago that she decided to set up her own online shop. With the help of her Swedish husband (also an interiors addict), she set about curating a select collection of stunning Scandi buys, which she launched last year following an impressive online marketing campaign and blog.

Nordic Bliss has all the classics: Danish brands such as Madam Stoltz and Hübsch, along with Swedish brands such as Klippan and Shyness and smaller Nordic labels. Prices range from reasonable to ridiculously cheap. There's a stunning wooden side table made of logs that's just £64.90 (Dh375). Similar items are easily twice as much elsewhere.

Shop here for pretty embroidered folk-style cushions in purples, pinks and black. Feminine but not twee, they'd look great with a mustard knitted throw on a sofa or bed.

Marianne's new spring/summer collection features elegant purple glass vases in contemporary shapes and beautiful hanging crocheted cradles for nurseries, all at incredibly low prices.

I like the felt storage baskets in black, white or grey. They're perfect for papers in a home office, clutter in the hallway or toys in the kids' bedroom. I'm also smitten with the embossed metal tray. It looks like an expensive treasure, but it's great value at £19.90 (Dh115). Don't miss the elegant wooden tray tables - so useful for a host of tasks. Place one in the living room for coffee and magazines or one beside the bed as a place to perch a lamp and a book. They're so handy, and fold flat when not in use.

Elsewhere there are industrial pendant lights, chic candle holders and incredible Tolix-style stools for less than £45 (Dh260) each. This shop is still one of the best-kept interiors secrets - and total bliss.
