Here are some tips to help you keep your washing machine and dishwasher running at an optimum performance level.
Run a cycle with an empty load at least once a month to clean out old particles of debris and oil build-up. Fill the detergent compartment with a specified cleaning agent and select a programme that runs at a high temperature.
Always make sure you choose a suitable programme for the type of cycle needed – machines offer a range of programmes, from eco-settings to intensive washes, to ensure that you get the optimum and most efficient performance needed.
For your dishwasher, ensure salt and rinse aid are topped up, as this will affect the cleaning of your dishes. Without rinse aid, you may notice your glassware going cloudy after a few cycles.
Wipe the door seals of your washing machine and dishwasher regularly with a damp cloth, to remove any accumulated residue, and empty the filter regularly for any debris that has been caught during a cycle. Finally, don’t overfill the dishwasher or washing machine, as this will reduce how effective the clean is.

How to apply for a drone permit
- Individuals must register on UAE Drone app or website using their UAE Pass
